Came across this restaurant while walking around town and craving a snack.
I ordered the red wine and my husband ordered a beer. They don't give you names of the type of wine or beer you order, not something I'm used too. The wine was tasty, tasted like a Cabernet sauvignon. The beer was light and refreshing.
We also ordered the meat and cheese charcuterie board, but we only received the meat one, server must have gotten confused, but it was fine.
All the meats were good, some had a stronger meaty taste I don't recall which ones.
I'm not a huge meat eater, so I don't have the acquired taste needed to really appreciate a good meat board. It was good nonetheless especially with some bread and the little pickles.
Service was prompt and attentive. Our server spoke French and Spanish, very little English.

Every morning while in town we would try a different restaurant to have coffee, and at this place we had an omelette as well as orange juice with a pastry.  Early in the morning can be chilly but just being outside seated while enjoying the food was just great.  The server spoke some english but I did try to speak French as often as I could.  The place was clean and friendly, and soon enough plenty of people started to arrive and it was full soon thereafter.  The tables are small so we had to utilize all the space possible. They have combination of things for a set price, you have to try a baguette with jam when in Paris,
Oh and just to let you know the chairs face away from the restaurant in France so you can people watch while eating, it just is, so enjoy it.

    Merci.

Just arrived in Paris reuniting with our two College age children - what a great meal and a great experience. The waiter was fabulous and fun and the food was delicious and fresh and perfectly prepared. Hurrah for Le Sauret and it's contribution to our first night of a long holiday in Paris.
